Concert Recap: A Festival of French Favorites (1/15/17)

Thank you to all those who joined us for the second concert of our 2016-2017 season, a Festival of French Favorites, performed by the Howard County Concert Orchestra at the beautiful First Evangelical Lutheran Church in Ellicott City, MD. We were honored to play for so many wonderful guests and supporters, and hope that each and every one of you enjoyed the performance. In case you missed it (or are feeling nostalgic) you can find our concert program here, as well as a selection of photos from our receptions and concert below.

For this concert, our orchestra was joined by numerous talented individuals, including our narrator, WBJC’s Jonathan Palevsky, vocal soloist Denée Barr, and the very talented youth members from Dance Connections, Inc.

The Howard County Concert Orchestra would also like to take the opportunity to thank Clarksville Caterers and Tersiguel’s French Country Restaurant for their generous contributions to our pre- and post-concert receptions. Without the kind backing of all our supporters, we would not be able to provide these wonderful opportunities for the arts to flourish in Howard County.

If you weren’t able to join us for A Festival of French Favorites, we invite you to attend our final concert of the season – Splendid Sonority: Organ, Trumpets, and Strings – on May 21 (4pm) at St. John’s Episcopal Church in Ellicott City, MD. Tickets are available for purchase in advance and at the door – we hope to see you there!
